2012-13: Played in 24 games, starting two ... average 8.8 points per game ... shot a team best 60.2% from the field and 54.7% from three point land ... had a career high 20 points 1/22/13 against Trinity Bible College ... had 30 assists on the season ... had 10+ points in 10 games. 

2011-12: Junior season ... 26 games played ... started 23 ... in UMAC games, ranked 9th in 3-point field goals made (1.4/g) and 3-point field goal percentage (40.8%) ... led the team and was 5th in the UMAC in 3-point field goal percentage (40.3%) … led the team in free throw percentage (83.3%) … career high 17 points on 6 for 8 shooting from the field against Presentation on Jan. 31 … other career highs include 8 assists against Bethany Lutheran on Feb. 22 and 6 rebounds against Northwestern on Feb. 11  … scored 6.1 points/game with 2.3 rebounds/game while averaging 27.3 minutes/game

2010-11: Sophomore season … season highs included 13 points v. Trinity Bible on Jan. 25 and five rebounds at Presentation on Feb. 1 … appeared in 23 games with three starts … averaged 11.0 minutes per night … scored 2.8 points with 1.5 rebounds per game … shot 40% (21-of-52) from the floor, 29% (6-of-21) from three-point range and 80% (16-of-20) from the line … also had 19 assists and four steals.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Forest Lake High School … coached by Dan Cremisho … All-Conference (08-09) … All-time record holder in three-point percentage … team’s Mr. Defense … All-Conference Honorable Mention in football (08-09).

Personal: Son of Antoinette Moran & Dennis Hoidal … has one sister Natalie (17) … his greatest sports thrill was winning the seventh grade Minnesota Basketball Championship … chose UMM because of the good math program, basketball, affordability and scholarships … majoring in mathematics and secondary education.
