2013: Junior season … seventh in the UMAC and second on the team with 83 total tackles … second on the team with 32 solo tackles … 7.5 tackles for a loss … 1.5 sacks … 16 total tackles and one tackle for a loss against MacMurray on Nov 9 … seven total tackles, two tackles for a loss, and one sack against Iowa Wesleyan on Sept 21 

2012: Appeared in ten games ... 50 tackles on the year, seventh on the team ... six tackles for loss ... one sack on the year ... one pass breakup ... season high nine tackles and three sacks against Westminster.

2011: Freshman season ... appeared in 8 games ... season high 4 tackles against Eureka (10/15/11) and Northwestern (10/1/11)  ... recorded 13 tackles

High School: 2011 graduate of Wabasha-Kellogg High School … coached by Nick Richmond … three-year letter winner and winner of the W-K Football Falcon Award for outstanding display of character … Academic All-Conference honoree in football, basketball, baseball, band and speech while graduating with a 4.0 GPA … won the subsection AAA award … lists his greatest thrill as making highlight reel hits.

Personal: Son of Michael and Georgette Schumacher … has one sister, Rebecca, and one brother, Greg … father played at UMM from 1976-79 and graduated in 1980, while brother Greg competed on UMM men’s cross country team … Georgette also attended UMM in 1980 … also enjoys played the trumpet, listing to rock music and hanging out with friends … lists his father as the person with the greatest influence on his career … chose UMM because it’s a small, high quality college with a wide range of opportunities … majoring Computer Science and Mathematics with a minor in Statistics.
