Harry Ballantyne will begin his seventh season with the Minnesota Morris baseball program in 2026 after he joined Cougar staff as an assistant coach in January 2020. A familiar face to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), Ballantyne was a four-year member of the Crown baseball team (2014-17).
Ballantyne completed his time donning the Black & Purple at Crown holding numerous career school records including: runs (107), hits (156), doubles (28), triples (17), career RBI (88), total bases (230), walks (62), and stolen bases (49).
Following his time at Crown, he served as a graduate assistant baseball coach at Iowa Lakes Community College, while he obtained a master's degree in sports administration with an emphasis in coach and leadership education from Upper Iowa University.
Along with his time as a graduate assistant coach at Iowa Lakes, Ballantyne has coaching experience with the Bloomington Gold/Blue Legion Baseball Program and the Minnesota Mash Performance & Baseball Club.
A native of Lakeville, Minnesota, Ballantyne attended Lakeville South High School before graduating from Crown in 2017 with degrees in sports management and theology.
