University of Minnesota Morris Athletics

Tyler Scheler is in his first season as an assistant coach for the University of Minnesota Morris, where he will assist with first basemen.

Scheler played two seasons at Minnesota Morris and was named UMAC All-Academic in both years. He appeared in 70 games, making 69 starts, and posted a .297 batting average with 80 hits, including 15 doubles, three triples, and four home runs. Scheler recorded 64 RBIs, scored 49 runs, and drew 27 walks.

Defensively, Scheler finished with a .994 fielding percentage, committing just three errors while tallying 447 putouts and 27 assists.
