Started all 34 games ... hit .297 ... slugged .356 ... on-base percentage of .353 ... led the team with 16 stolen bases, second in the UMAC ... second on the team with 35 hits ... seven doubles ... 17 RBI on the year ... led the team with 33 runs scored, seventh in the UMAC ... 12 multi-hit games ... nine mult-run games ... five multi-RBI games.

2013: Started 23 games … UMAC Honorable Mention ... Batted a team high .333 … Led team in stolen bases with 9 …led team in walks with 10 … scored 16 runs.

2012: UMAC honorable mention ... Led team in batting average and on base percentage with .368 and .443 respectively ... Started all 35 games … Stole 20 bases in 25 attempts.

High School: 2011 graduate of Melrose High School…coached by Adam Rushmeyer and Craig Meyer…All-Conference- 2010,2011…St. Cloud Times All-Area Selection-2011…Team MVP-2011.
Greatest Sports Thrill: Beating Sauk Centre and New London to make it to the Section Finals in basketball.
Family in Sports: Brothers Nathan and Jamie played college baseball at Ridgewater, Jamie also played at Upper Iowa…sister Kayla played softball for Ridgewater.

Personal: Son of Rick and Brenda… siblings; Nathan, Jamie, Kayla ... Elementary Education major…chose UMM for its Elementary Ed. program…his grandpa, Floyd Hess, is the greatest influence on his career…enjoys playing basketball.
