Chris Rivers joins the Minnesota Morris football staff in 2023 and will work primarily with defensive backs.
A graduate of Minot State University, Rivers was an All-NSIC cornerback and had previously earned Honorable Mention JUCO All-American status at Ridgewater College.
Following a professional tryout with the Atlanta Falcons, Rivers played professional indoor football for the Billings Outlaws and the Sioux City Bandits. He also previously worked as a sports performance coach at Showtime Performance Training in Rogers, Minn. prior to beginning his time on the Cougar coaching staff.
