Mike Shible begins his second season on the Minnesota Morris coaching staff in 2023, working primarily with running backs.

Shible graduated from Rhodes College in 2022 with a degree in Mathematics. A three-time Academic All-Conference performer as a member of the football team for the Lynx, Shible played defensive back before spending his final two years as a student assistant with increasing responsibilities over that time.

During his time as a student assistant, Shible worked with the offensive line, long snappers, and super backs, while also leading a support staff of two stipend employees and two student workers. His oversight also included the areas of Game Day Operations, Travel, and Video Operations. In his senior season, Shible operated all aspects of the video department for Rhodes football and helped adapt video operations and game day operations to the preferences of a new coaching staff.

Shible also has experience at the high school level, serving as a stipend assistant during the 2020 season for Alan C. Pope High School in Marietta, Ga., where he graduated from in 2018.
