Chuba returns to his alma-mater in 2016-17 to take over the reigns of the Minnesota Morris men's tennis program. He is also an assistant coach of the Cougars men's soccer team.
The Elk River, Minn. native played both high school tennis and soccer at Elk River High School.
A 2015 University of Minnesota Morris alum with a degree in Business Management, Chuba was a four-year member of the Cougars men's soccer team where he played under current head coach Scott Turnbull.
Chuba achieved both on- and off-field accomplishments as a Cougar. In his freshman season (2011) the Cougars won the UMAC tournament championship and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. He was the team's representative for the conference sportsmanship award his sophomore season. His senior season, he was named First-Team All-Conference and was named the team's Offensive MVP. Throughout his career, Chuba amassed 14 goals, nine assists, and totaled 37 points.
In addition to his coaching duties at Minnesota Morris, Chuba is a youth coach for Three Rivers Soccer Association.
