Dimitri Sofias

Dimitri Sofias enters his first season with the University of Minnesota Morris Men's Soccer and Women's Tennis programs before the 2025 fall season. Sofias is the assistant Men's Soccer coach and the head coach for Women's Tennis.

Before joining Minnesota Morris, Sofias served as the assistant coach for the Laramie County Community College men's soccer team. During his time with the Golden Eagles, he was involved in recruiting, team instruction, and maintaining team statistics. His tenure included notable wins over the No. 1, No. 11, and No. 20 ranked teams in the NJCAA. In his final season, he helped guide the team to an overall record of 8-5-2 and a conference record of 5-3-1.

Sofias played soccer collegiately at Laramie County CC, where he scored 10 goals and provided five assists over two seasons. In his sophomore year, he was named Region IX Honorable Mention. He also brings 12 years of video production experience, which he hopes to use to support and enhance the programs. His goal is to showcase the teams' hard work and successes in a way that inspires both players and the community.

He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Journalism.Â
