Duluth, Minn. - When the University of Minnesota, Morris and the College of St. Scholastica square off in the UMAC Men's Soccer Tournament Championship game, they will be kicking it off at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 6.

This Saturday will mark the fourth straight season that the two teams have met on the UMAC's ultimate pitch. However, it will be the first time that the winner will receive an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III men's soccer tournament.

The Cougars won the conference tournament in 2007 and 2008, but the Saints took the crown last season, after Minnesota, Morris won their first UMAC regular season title.

Ironically, the Cougars are 2-0 in Championship games played in Duluth, with their only loss coming in last season's match-up in Morris. The 2009 title game went into a shootout when nether team could score after 110:00 minutes of play. After 15 shooters, the Saints prevailed by the 8-7 score in the shootout.

The Cougars will look to get back on top of the UMAC, and advance to their first NCAA Tournament, when they take on St. Scholastica in Duluth on Nov. 6 at 2:00 p.m., in the 2010 UMAC Tournament Championship game.
