Playing on the road at Northland College, the Cougar softball team split a doubleheader.
With the split, the Cougars held on to third place in the UMAC with a 9-4 conference record.
Game 1 Box
Late runs and late errors allowed the Lumberjills to pull away for an 11-3 win in game 1.
The game was tied at two going into the bottom of the fifth inning, when the Lumberjills hit two home runs off UMM starter
Kali Cordes. The second home run was a three-run shot from Amanda Seely.

Tasha Johnson picked up the win, going 5 and 1/3 innings. Sophomore
