Last time out
The Cougars return to action after just their second loss in their last eight matches. Morris lost 1-0 to St. Scholastica last week, ending a four-match winning streak that was capped by a 4-0 win over Northland the day before. A lone first half goal was enough for the Saints, as they beat the Cougars 1-0 for the second time this season. Against Northland, the Cougars scored three first half goals in a 14-minute span as they cruised to the win.

Northwestern won twice last week, running their current winning streak to four, and UMAC unbeaten streak to eight straight matches. The Eagles scored a pair of 3-1 wins last weekend, topping Martin Luther and Bethany Lutheran respectively. They jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead over the Knights en route to the win, while they held on as the Vikings made it interesting late with a penalty kick late to close within one.

Crown also posted a pair of victories last weekend, winning 2-1 over each Bethany Lutheran and Martin Luther. After a scoreless first half against the Vikings, the Storm jumped out 2-0 in the second, with BLC not scoring until the final minute. A day later against the Knights, all the scoring was in the first half, with the Storm again going up 2-0 before MLC got on the board.

Earlier this season
Back in the first weekend of conference play came away with a 1-0 win, using the first career goal from Ebrima Badgie as the difference. The Cougars are the last UMAC team to beat the Eagles, as they earned a 0-0 tie with St. Scholastica. Badgie's second half score tipped the scales in an evenly played match that saw each team finish with nine total shots.

In the first UMAC game of the season for the Cougars, Toby Glaser secured the 1-0 win in the second half, scoring his first goal of the season. The Cougars posted 21 total shots in the match, but had to wait until nearly 15 minutes of the second half had passed to get on the board.
