Badgie's Scoring Streak Alive in Win

Box Score MORRIS, Minn. – Despite falling behind in the 29th minute the Cougars (8-5-1, 7-1 UMAC) rebounded in the second half to beat Crown 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. Scott DeVries scored the game winner for Morris as UMM outshot the Storm 34-1.
 
The Cougars had several chances in the first half but many a combination of a few shots going just wide and some nice saves from Duncan Sloan kept UMM scoreless. Crown jumped on top in the 29th minute when Angelo Silione headed the ball past Jacob Borash on a nice cross from Jason Budish off a corner.
 
Ebrima Badgie got the first Cougar goal in the in the 52nd minute his 11th on the year. DeVries scored his goal of his career in the 59th minute putting UMM on top. Badgie added another goal in the 88th minute to seal the win for Morris.
 
Badgie has now scored 12 goals on the year, scoring in eight of the last night matches and has 8 goals in the last four matches alone.
 
Minnesota Morris will be in action on Thursday as they take on Martin Luther in New Ulm at 1:00 p.m.
