Box Score MORRIS, Minn. - The Cougar soccer took on Crown College for the second time in three days, this time though it would take place at home. Morris would start off strong;
Ebrima Badgie would score a goal in the 10
th minute thanks to a crossing pass from
Matt Vik and score the opening goal of the game. Late in the second half the Cougars would score again this time by
Austin Keller in the 38
th minute. The Cougars would out shoot the Storm 12-2 in the first half.
The Storm would come out in the second half and get their first goal of the game when Truman Shelter would race down the field and score a goal off the right post to cut the lead down to 2-1 in the 52
nd minute. Just minutes later the Cougars would come back with a goal of their own from
Momodou Jallow to give themselves a 3-1 lead in the 54th minute.
Morris would rack up 24 shots in the 3-1 win on Saturday.
Jacob Borash made two saves on the afternoon.
