Cougars Split Saturday

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Minnesota Morris split a pair of matches on Saturday. The day started with a 3-0 sweep over Wisconsin-Stout, 28-26, 26-24, 25-21, avenging a five set loss to them earlier in the year. In the afternoon match, River Falls swept the Cougars 27-25, 25-23, 25-11.
 
In the sweep over Stout, Abby Tietz had nine kills, leading the offense. Alyssa Haugen added eight and Hannah Knott had seven. Morris held Stout to just .185 hitting on the day. Jennifer LaRoque had a solo block and six block assists in the win. Kaylie Clark and Tietz each had 13 digs defensively.
 
In the match against River Falls, Hannah Knott led the way nine kills in the match while hitting .333 in the match. Brooke Decker and Mandy Allman ran the offense combing for 26 assists. Decker had 14 assists and Allman had 12. Kaylie Clark had 12 digs. Jennifer LaRoque had three block assists in the match.
