Box Score MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (11-8, 10-3 UMAC) stood firm on Friday winning 3-0 over North Central (2-12-2 1-11-1 UMAC), setting up a showdown with Northwestern tomorrow afternoon. The winner of tomorrow's match will earn the two seed and home match in the UMAC Tournament.

Momodou Jallow scored what could be the Cougars prettiest goal during the run of play on the year to open up the scoring in the fifth minute. Willie Wachutka crossed a ball that was volleyed just inside the right upper 90 by Jallow. Just over a half hour later Michael Ward, one of the six seniors to be honored on senior day found fellow senior Ebrima Badgie in the box who flicked the ball home. Less than three minutes later Ward again crossed the ball in the same area as his last cross, this time the Rams defender miss played the ball and it sailed in to the back of the net.

The Cougars outshot North Central 15-2 in the first 45 minutes of play. North Central's keeper had eight saves in the first half.

It was a quiet second half in terms of goals scored but Morris maintained in control. The Cougars outshot NCU 11-1 in the second half to finish with a 25-3 shot advantage in the match.

Tomorrow's match will begin at 2:15 p.m. at Cougar Field.
