MORRIS, Minn. – The post season begins tomorrow for the Minnesota Morris (18-7) women's basketball team as they prepare to host St. Scholastica (11-14) tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. in the P.E. Center.

The Cougars won both match-ups with the Saints in the regular season winning 64-51 in Duluth and 73-58 in Morris. Emily Mehr led UMM in scoring both games, having a double-double in the first meeting. In Morris, three Cougars scored over 10 points, Mehr had 23, Kendra Wycoff had 20 and Kayla Kraemer had 12.
 
St. Scholastica comes in winners of two of their last five games; all three losses came against teams in the UMAC Tournament. The Saints were selected to finish second in the UMAC preseason poll, which means this semi-final is a match-up of the two preseason favorites.
 
Minnesota Morris leads the all-time series 23-4 and has won 17 of the last 18 meetings.
 
The winner of this semi-final will take on the winner of Northwestern and Martin Luther on Saturday in the UMAC Championship. The highest remaining seeded team in the tournament will host the UMAC Championship at either 5:30 p.m. or 7 p.m.
