MORRIS, Minn. – In the final pre-UMAC tune up the Cougars (1-5-0) fell to #23 Augsburg (4-1-1) on Sunday afternoon. The Auggies lone goal came in the 22^nd minute as a bad clearance ended up on the foot of Edi Beccera. Beccera finished the ball off in the top right corner.
 
Minnesota Morris had a chance to go up early but Devin Chuba's strike flew just right of the post. Michael Schuweiler had few chances in the second half. His header was blocked off and then he had a shot go just wide and ended up in the side netting. Goalkeeper Matt Yost had a pair of saves on the afternoon.
 
UMAC play is now on tap for the Cougars as they will host Northland on Friday and then host St. Scholastica on Saturday.
