MORRIS, Minn. – The Cougars take a break from UMAC play this weekend to take on four teams that are receiving national attention. The Cougars will play the three ranked teams and one team who are receiving votes in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Minnesota Morris is 1-0 this season against ranked teams, beating #24 Augsburg. The weekend starts with a match against Wisconsin-Oshkosh at 3 p.m. The Titans are receiving 21 votes in this week's AVCA Poll. On Friday night the Cougars take on #21 Millikin at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the Cougars open the day with #22 Saint Ben's at 10 a.m. before taking on #15 Trinity (TX) at 12:15 to finish up the two day invitational.

Morris saw their ten match winning streak come to an end last weekend against Buena Vista in Mankato. They will be motivated to prove that they can compete with the some of the best teams in the country this weekend before wrapping up UMAC play over the next two weekends. The Cougars have nine more matches this season before starting the UMAC Tournament on November 5.
