Coon Rapids, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (7-4-2, 6-1-2 UMAC) used a pair of goals in each half to shutout North Central 4-0 on Friday afternoon. Once again it was a balanced scoring effort as four different Cougars scored on the afternoon.
Shingo Yamane started the scoring with a goal in the 13
th minute thanks to the help of
Luqman Barre.
Victor Aanerud scored his first ever goal in the Morris kit in the 38
th minute.
Zachary Jacobson scored for the third straight match, doing so in the 57
th minute to put the Cougars up 3-0. The final nail in the coffin came in the 74
th minute as Joshua Bartles connected on a shot.
The Cougars held a 12-0 advantage in shots in each half, holding North Central without a shot in 90 minutes of action.
