ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (8-4-2, 7-1-2 UMAC) picked up a 1-0 win over Northwestern (5-10-1, 5-4-1 UMAC) on Saturday evening, It was the 53^rd win for Scott Turnbull, which makes him the winningest coach in UMM men's soccer history. Shingo Yamane scored in the 62^nd minute to give the Cougars the win.
 
The two teams combined for just eight shots on goal, while doing their best to muck it up, combining for 31 fouls and four yellow cards. Devin Chuba picked up the assist for the Cougars in the win.
 
Luqman had three shots to lead the team, putting two on net. Cody Christ finished the day with three saves while earning the clean sheet.
