ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Cougars (10-4-1, 9-0-1 UMAC) took care of Northwestern (4-10, 4-6 UMAC) 3-0 on Saturday evening in St. Paul.
Molly Hancuh had a pair of goals for the Cougars on the day.
Hancuh scored in the 38
th minute to put Morris on top thanks to some help from
Kelsi Kolle. It marked the sixth UMAC match in which Hancuh recorded a point and fifth time she has scored in ten conference matches.
After being award a penalty kick the Cougars sent Hancuh to the spot to take the kick. She would put it past the keeper and doubled the Cougars lead in the 52
nd minute. Kolle recorded a goal of her own in the 66
th minute, scoring off an assist from
Christina Mollan.
