MORRIS, Minn. – The Cougars (12-4-1, 11-0-1 UMAC) used a 2-0 win over Bethany Lutheran (7-10-1, 6-6 UMAC) to secure a home playoff game in the UMAC Tournament. The win also sets up a big match with St. Scholastica at home next Friday afternoon. A win would all but secure the Cougars the number one seed in the UMAC Tournament.
The Cougars outshot the Vikings 16-0 in the match. Despite the advantage it took them until the 55
th minute to get on the board.
Meaghan Delaney scored her third goal of the year on a shot from the center of the box thanks to a great corner kick from
Christina Mollan.
Ivie Brooks added an insurance goal in the 78
th minute.
Kelsi Kolle picked up the assist on the Brooks goal.
