ASHLAND, Wis. – The women's soccer team took care of the Northland Lumberjills 3-0 on Friday afternoon. Three different Cougars had goals on the day. An early goal gave Morris a 1-0 lead and then they scored two late goals to ice the game.
 
Christina Mollan put Morris ahead in the 11^th minute, scoring thanks to an assist from Carly Denler. The Cougars would have 15 shots in the first half but the score remained 1-0 at the break.
 
Rachael Berns made it 2-0 Cougars in the 84^th minute and then Kebra Rogers scored thanks to a penalty in the 90^th minute to make the final score 3-0.
 
Tomorrow the Cougars play St. Scholastica in the UMAC Game of the Week at noon.
