MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris has already secured the two seed in next week's UMAC Men's Soccer Tournament but will try to pick up two more wins this weekend. Morris host St. Scholastica at 1 p.m. tomorrow and Northland on Saturday at noon.
Morris will look for some revenge against the Saints, who handed the Cougars their lone loss of the conference season. St. Scholastica took down Minnesota Morris 3-0 back on October 4 in Duluth.
Since that loss UMM has rattled off seven straight wins, outscoring their opponents 15-2 during the stretch.
The opponent for the Cougars in Tuesday's semifinal is still to be announced. Four teams are within four points of the number three spot in the UMAC standings. Both Crown and Northwestern control their own destiny, they are both currently in third place in the UMAC, and will meet on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
