DULUTH, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (4-4-2, 3-1-2) was held to just one shot on Saturday falling 3-0 to St. Scholastica. The Saints had two first half goals and tacked one on in the second half to finish off the shutout win.
Cody Christ made six saves in the goal for Morris.
Morris fell behind early when Tom Corcoran headed in the ball off a free kick in the 10
th minute. Corcoran made it 2-0 in the 38
th minute doubling the Saints lead.
They picked up an insurance goal in the 78
th minute when Andrew Jenkins scored his 15
th goal of the season.
The match featured six cards as both teams finished with three each. The Cougars are back in action Wednesday as the host Martin Luther.
