Cougars Open Season in Colorado

MORRIS, Minn. – The Minnesota Morris volleyball team opens up the 2014 season in Colorado Springs, Colorado as they play in the Colorado College Tournament. The Cougars will take on Simpson College at 5 p.m. tomorrow evening. WATCH LIVE | LIVE STATS
 
Over the two day tournament the Cougars play a total of four matches against four different teams. They will also play Colorado College, Oswego State and Blackburn College. Colorado College is ranked eighth in the AVCA Preseason Poll. All four matches will be available to watch online. 
 
The Cougars are looking to build of a 2013 season in which they won a share of the UMAC Regular Season Championship and reached the UMAC Tournament Championship Match.
 
The video above includes an interview with Chad Braegelmann as well as three players; Emily Auch, Hannah Tehaar and Addie Vancura.
 
Morris was 23-12 last season and went 13-1 in conference play. The 23 wins were the most for the Cougars under Braegelmann and second straight year the Cougars won 20 matches.
 
Three of the top four point scorers are back for the Cougars including Emily Auch and Abby Tietz who were All-UMAC performers last season.
