MORRIS, Minn. – The Cougars (5-4, 4-0 UMAC) picked up another UMAC win on Saturday, beating North Central (1-4, 0-4 UMAC) 4-0.
Molly Hancuh had a goal and two assists to spark the offense. Minnesota Morris out shot North Central 36-0 on the day.
Molly Hancuh scored in the tenth minute, hitting a right footed shot from about 14 yards out.
Christina Mollan delivered the pass to Hancuh, which gave her space to get the ball past the keeper. Morris finished the first half with a 1-0 lead on 12 shots.
In the second half the Cougars scored a trio of goals to put the game out of reach.
Kelsi Kolle scored a goal in the 50
th minute, finishing off the ball after a save by the North Central keeper.
Casey Will scored her first goal of her Cougar career in the 58
th minute heading in a cross off the foot of Hancuh. Hancuh had another assist in the 84
th minute after her pass found the foot of
Rachael Berns about 12 yards out.
