MORRIS, Minn. – Minnesota Morris will look to double their win total on Friday with a match against Augsburg tomorrow night in St. Paul. The Cougars are coming off a thrilling 1-0 victory over Central College last Saturday.
WATCH LIVE/LIVE STATS vs AUGSBURG It will be the first of four straight road games for UMM. They head to Northfield on Sunday to play St. Olaf at 2 p.m. in the final non-conference matchup before UMAC play opens on September 19.
Scott Turnbull has mentioned that it will be great road test for the Cougars. Augsburg is a good team and their home crowd is one of the toughest to play against. The Auggies are 0-3 but two of their losses came at the hands of teams who had a win the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
St. Olaf had a 6-0 win over Northwestern to start their season. They will play Knox College on Friday afternoon before the Cougars head to Northfield.
