SUPERIOR, Wis. – Wisconsin-Superior held the Cougars in check on Saturday, winning the UMAC Game of the Week 3-0. Morris was held without a shot on goal in the contest. Superior outshot the Cougars 17-6 in the match.
The YellowJackets got on the board with a nice goal by Trevor Laroche in the 19
th minute of play. The match would stay at that scoreline through the halftime break.
Cody Christ had two saves in the first 45 minutes of play.
In the 68
th minute the YellowJackets got back on the board making the score 2-0. Just two minutes later they made it 3-0 which is where the game ended.
Minnesota Morris is back in action on Tuesday when they host Bethel University at 3 p.m.
