MORRIS, Minn. – After having some trouble finding the back of the net early, Minnesota Morris (7-6, 6-3 UMAC) scored three times in the second half to beat Bethany Lutheran (8-8-2, 5-3-1 UMAC) 4-0 on Wednesday. The win helped the Cougars get some revenge on the Vikings, after Bethany won 1-0 in Mankato earlier this season.

th minute
Ivie Brooks took advantage of a mistake by the BLC keeper and deposited the ball in the back of the net. The match would stay 1-0 at the halftime break. Morris outshot the Vikings 10-4 in the first half of play.
Molly Hancuh made it 2-0 in the 47
th minute. She found herself with space in midfield and dribbled the ball up the pitch. After a few touches Hancuh took a shot and placed the ball over the keeper's head.
Carly Denler scored her sixth goal of the season in the 65
th minute after gathering a pass from Juliet Olson-Batista in the box. Denler calmly shot the ball past the keeper. In the 80
th minute
Yu Ito crossed a ball that found its way to Denler, whom did the rest. Denler one timed the ball by the goalie to make it 4-0.
The Cougars will travel to Minneapolis this Saturday to play North Central in their final UMAC match of the year. On Sunday the Cougars will take on Wisconsin-Stout in the final regular season match of the year.
Morris is now fourth in the UMAC with the chance to finish third if things fall their way.
