MENOMONIE, Wis. – Torri Jordan did her best to help Minnesota Morris (8-7) end the 2015 regular season with a win but her 14 saves were not enough. Addy Maher gave the Wisconsin-Stout Blue Devils (7-7-3) a 1-0 overtime win with a goal in the 100
th minute.
Morris could only manage four shots on goal in the match while Stout finished with 15. The Blue Devils had 36 total shots in the match.
The Cougars were able to stick with the Blue Devils in the first half, racking up three shots. Stout asserted their dominance in the second 45 minutes, outshooting Morris 20-2. In the first overtime session Stout had six shots, the final one being the one that ended the game.
Minnesota Morris will now sit and wait to find out who they play in the UMAC Tournament.
