MORRIS, Minn. – In a very physical contest #25 St. Scholastica (10-0, 5-1 UMAC) edged the Cougars 1-0 on Saturday. Minnesota Morris (3-8, 3-2 UMAC) held to Saints off the board until late when Jonny Harkin scored in the 82
nd minute of play. The match featured 22 combined fouls and ten shots on goal.
Despite the Saints outshooting the Cougars 9-3 in the first half they could not break through the UMM defense.
Cody Christ made four saves in the first half.
Morris had couple chances in the second half but it would be the Saints who capitalized, scoring on their eighth shot on goal of the afternoon.
On Wednesday that Cougars will play Martin Luther in New Ulm in a UMAC contest.
