MORRIS, Minn. – Morris (0-2) softball begins their spring trip tomorrow afternoon in Florida at 1 p.m. The Cougars will play eight games over a span of five days from March 7-11; they will play two games a day with a day off on March 9. Minnesota Morris began their season last weekend with a doubleheader against Macalester, falling short in both games. The Cougars managed just three hits in the two games, something they hope the warm Florida weather will cure. Last season Morris went 4-4 in their spring trip. Morris will play one opponent they met up with last year, Eastern Nazarene, who beat UMM 3-2.
 
All but two games last season in Florida were decided by three runs or less, including five one run games. Morris will rely on their returner players to get them going down south before they return to play Crown College on March 30^th at home.
