MORRIS, Minn. – The Minnesota Morris (3-9, 1-0 UMAC) softball team will be inside over the next two days competing against four different UMAC Teams. The crossover starts tomorrow with a game against St. Scholastica at 1:30 p.m. All games will be played at the West St. Paul Dome.
Following the game with the Saints, UMM takes on Northland at 3:30 p.m. On Friday, Morris battles North Central at 8:30 a.m. and then will play Northwestern at 12:30 p.m.
Currently Morris is 1-0 in conference after beating Crown 13-8 on Monday afternoon. On the year the Cougars are 2-8 in neutral site games but hope to reserve that trend playing in a dome.
Minnesota Morris has hit .283 as team this year but the issue has been the runs they have given up. Opponents are hitting .364 on the year and averaging 7.83 runs per game. Errors have also plagued the Cougars have allowed 26 unearned runs this season, an average of a little more than two per game.
Autumn Mahoney has been great for UMM in the early going, hitting .433 in 12 games.

Alex Anderson have also been great at the plate, hitting over .350 on the year.
