Donnie Mavencamp was responsible for 112 of those 120 yards on offense.
Â
Devan Griffin had a rushing touchdown and a receiving score.
Evan Guffey and
Kyle Petermeier each had four catches for UMM.

Â
The Cougars got back on the board midway through the second quarter when they blocked a punt that was recovered in the end zone by Greenville. Morris took the lead back late in the second quarter when
Devan Griffin capped off a 13 play drive with a one yard touchdown run. The half ended with the Cougars leading 11-7, after the extra point was missed.
Â
The Panthers nearly took the lead back with their first drive of the second half but they failed to score after having first and goal from the one yard line. On their next drive Greenville was able to score but the extra point was blocked, giving the Panthers a 13-11 lead at the end of three.
Â
In their first drive in the fourth quarter Morris drove all the way down to the 24 yard line but had a pass intercepted, ending the scoring threat. After forcing a three and out Minnesota Morris scored on a fourth down play when Mavencamp found Griffin four a 43 yard pass. The two point conversion was good giving the Cougars a 19-13 lead with 3:30 left.
Â
On the ensuing drive the Panthers drove down to the Cougars 14 yard line but a false start moved them back. On fourth and fifteen the Panthers quarterback was forced out of the pocket and made a dash for the end zone but
Sergio Natividad saved the Cougars by tackling Jacob Tibbetts at the two yard line.
Â
