ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Morris (2-7) fell 3-0 to Macalester (4-0-3) on Wednesday night. The Scots scored all three goals in the first half doing so on six shots. The Cougars had four shots in the contest.
The scoring got started in the sixth minute when the Scots scored on a one-time from six yards out. They added the second goal in the 19
th minute on a free kick from about 20 yards out. The third goal came in the 28
th minute off another free kick from just outside the box.
Morris held the Scots off the board in the second half but could not make a comeback. Minnesota Morris will be back in action next Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran.
