ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Cougars participated in the Gene Glader Invitational at Bethel University of Saturday. Minnesota Morris had six individual champions on the day, led by
Justin Terry who won both the 60m and 200m.
His time in the 60m was 7.09 and his time in the 200m was 23.15.
Teja Foy had a good day on the track; she won the 200m in a time of 26.91. She was fourth in the 60m with a time of 8.25 seconds.
Emily Ciesynski was fourth in the 200m race, just 1.32 seconds behind Foy. Ciesynski was fifth in the 60m hurdles, crossing the line in 10.66 seconds.
Carly Denler won the pole vault getting over the bar at 3.00m. Morris swept the event as
Alicia Doerr took second and
Molly McGrath finished third. Doerr won the long jump with a distance of 5.27m.
Devan Griffin was first in the triple jump and second in the long jump marking at 12.34m and 5.88m respectively.
Morris also picked up nine other top five finishes:
