COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Yesterday Minnesota Morris track and field competed at the CSB-SJU Invite. Twelve Cougars finished in the top five during the meet.
Alicia Doerr,
Kaitlin Kamm,
Justin Terry and
Chalmer Combellick all won an event.
Doerr took first in the long jump with a mark of 5.32m; she was also second in the 100m dash in a time of 12.86. Kamm won the high jump after getting over the bar at 1.68m. She was also third in the 100m hurdles in a time of 15.67. Kamm is tied for fifth nationally in the high jump.
Terry took home first in the 100m dash for the second week, crossing the line in 10.87 seconds. Later in the day he was third in the 200m dash in a time of 23.07. Combellick won the 1500m in a time of 3:59.71.
Sidney Paulson took second in the 400m with a time of 61.79.
Teja Foy and
Laura Borkenhagen each finished third on the day. Foy was third in the 200m dash in a time of 26.90. Borkenhagen ran the 1500m in 5:04.00 to take third.
Emily Ciesynski was fourth in the 400m hurdles in a time of 1:11.62.
Sami Brinkman threw the hammer 42.65m to take fourth.
Cole Kvistero took third in 110m hurdles in a time of 16.55.
Zach Smith was fifth in the 400m crossing the line in 62.09.
Matthew Kingland jumped 1.74m in the high jump to take fourth.
The men's 4x100m relay team finished second in a time of 44.53.
