ST. PETER, Minn. – The Cougar track and field team competed at the Lee Krough Invite on Saturday. The team took home four individual champions and broke a school record along the way.
Alicia Doerr won the long jump with a mark of 5.40m, .08m better than her seed mark.
Justin Terry made it three straight weeks winning the 100m dash in a time of 10.76. Terry also won the 200m, doing so in a time of 22.42 seconds.
Chalmer Combellick won the 800m run in a time of 1:55.75.
Carly Denler set a new school record in the pole vault, taking third with a height of 3.24m.
Kaitlin Kamm was fifth in the high jump with a height of 1.61m. Doerr and
Teja Foy qualified for the 100m final. Foy would end up taking fifth while Doerr took seventh.
Cole Kvistero won his prelim heat of the 110m hurdles, qualifying fifth overall. Kvistero finished third overall with a time of 16.30. In prelims, Terry won his heat in the 100m to qualify for the finals; he was joined there by
Devan Griffin.
Mack Ferguson finished fifth in the hammer with a distance of 43.10m.
