LA CROSSE, Wis. – Minnesota Morris was in La Crosse, Wisconsin last night for the UWL Eagle Open. The Cougars had nine top-10 finishes and broke a school record in the very competitive meet.
Carly Denler broke the school record in the pole vault with a height of 3.31m.
Justin Terry was third in the 100m race with a 10.91 time in the finals. Terry was seventh in the 200m race in a time of 22.65.
Teja Foy took third in the 200m in a time of 26.69, just .09 off last weeks' time.
Sidney Paulson was eighth with a time of 27.14.
Kaitlin Kamm jumped 1.56m to finish third in the high jump.
Laura Borkenhagen ran the 1500m in a time of 4:53.75 to finish sixth.
Chalmer Combellick was seventh in the 800m run in a time of 1:56.24.
Taylor Nordby was ninth in the javelin with a throw of 28.60m.
Currently the Cougars have four athletes ranking in the top-40 in the NCAA. Kamm is 18
th in the high jump, Combellick is 20
th in the 1500m,
Sami Brinkman is 28
th in the hammer and Terry is 37
th in the 100m.
