LA CROSSE, Wis. – A handful of Minnesota Morris track and field athletes competed at the NCAA Qualifier Meet at the University of La Crosse on Thursday night.
Justin Terry and
Chalmer Combellick set new school records on the night.
Terry ran his fastest time of the year in the 100m prelims, clocking in at 10.70, a new school record. He would take second overall in the finals, crossing the line in a time of 10.81.Terry was ninth in the 200m race with a time of 22.16.
Combellick ran a 3:50.61 in the 1500m, setting a new best of the year and breaking his own school record.
Kaitlin Kamm took fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.56m.
Sami Brinkman was ninth with a throw of 43.96m in the hammer.
Sidney Paulson took tenth in the 400m race; her time of 59.81 was just .7 off her best time of the year. Paulson took 14
th in the 200m in a time of 26.38.
