Box Score MORRIS, Minn. - Two weeks ago, the Cougars' men's soccer scheduled home opener was cancelled due to consistent lightning in the area. It appeared the game would be scoreless going into halftime, but Concordia-Moorhead put together a late charge and Luis Martinez sent a bouncing ball past Cougar goalkeeper
Cody Christ in the game's 42nd minute.
Neither team was able to put together many scoring chances as both squads displayed staunch defenses. The teams combined for 12 overall shots and three shots on goal throughout the entire 90 minutes.Â
Minnesota Morris had their best chance in the 83rd minute when

Austin Keller forced Concordia goalie Alan Scheuemann to make a save.
Minnesota (1-5) heads back on the road for a Sunday contest at UW-Platteville.
