Cougars conclude Florida softball trip

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CLERMONT, Fla. - The Minnesota Morris softball team wrapped up their Florida trip with their fifth doubleheader in as many days Tuesday.

Wis.-River Falls 8, UMM 1
Paige Dahlberg, Emily Nordquist, Madison Kugler-Hoekstra, and Morgan Mathews all had hits. Mathews pitched five innings in relief, allowing only two runs.

Rutgers-Newark 19, UMM 2
Becca Holland and Madison Langrehr delivered RBI hits.

The Cougars (2-12) will fly back to Minneapolis tomorrow in preparation for the NCU Tournament Dome Games in Plymouth Thursday and Friday.
