SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Minnesota Morris women's soccer team (4-7-0, 2-4-0 UMAC) dropped a 2-0 decision to Wisconsin-Superior (6-7-2, 5-0-0 UMAC) on the road Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars conceded an own goal in the fifth minute to put the Yellowjackets in front, 1-0.
- The game remained 1-0 until the 84th minute when Mackenzie Oehlerking converted a penalty kick attempt to make it 2-0.
- UW-Superior outshot Minnesota Morris, 9-8.
- Sam Tate led the Cougars with three shot attempts.
