RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The Minnesota Morris volleyball team (7-10) fell in four sets (25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22) to Wisconsin-River Falls (12-9) Wednesday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 17-12 in the opener, the Falcons went on a 13-4 run en route to a 25-21 first set victory.
- The Cougars evened up the match at one set apiece with a 25-22 victory in set two.
- In the third set, the Falcons were down by one at 13-12, but used a 8-0 to build a 21-13 lead en route to a 25-18 win.
- The Falcons secured the 3-1 match victory with a 25-22 win in set four.
NOTABLES
- Brenna Tinjum recorded a double-double (12 kills and 16 digs). She also recorded four blocks and three aces.
- Tori Everson tallied a double-double (12 kills and 12 digs).
