SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Minnesota Morris volleyball team (8-10, 2-0 UMAC) tallied a road victory over UW-Superior (8-12, 2-1 UMAC) in four sets (25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22) Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Cougars captured a 25-16 victory in the opening set, the Yellowjackets rebounded with a 25-20 win in set two.
- The Cougars then tallied a 25-20 win in set three and then secured the match victory with a 25-22 win in set four.
NOTABLES
- Layne Herrmann led both teams in assists (39) and digs (18); Her 18 digs Saturday are a career-best.

The Cougars head to Concordia on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The match is set for a 7 p.m. start in Moorhead, Minnesota.
