NEW ULM, Minn. – The UMN Morris football team (1-7, 1-5 UMAC) dropped a 49-0 decision at Martin Luther (7-1, 6-0 UMAC) Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Joshuah Kren caught a 49-yard touchdown pass from Ethan Aguilar with 10:08 to play in the first quarter to open up the scoring for the Knights.
- MLC then tacked on four more touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 35-0 lead into halftime.
- The Knights capped off the scoring with a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter to bring the score to 49-0.
NOTABLES
- Marcos Luna led the Cougars with a career-best 18 tackles (15 solo, three assisted).
- Drew Shipley tied the school record for punts in a game (11) and set the school record for total punting yards (474 yards).

UMN Morris is set to host St. Scholastica on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Big Cat Stadium. Saturday's game will be the 2019 home finale for the Cougars.
