MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris women's basketball team will move forward with an altered schedule over the coming days. Included in those changes are the postponements of two scheduled home contests at Jim Gremmels Court.
Tomorrow night, the Cougars will travel to the Twin Cities to play the University of Northwestern at 7 p.m. as originally scheduled. From there, a contest with Northland College scheduled for Feb. 13 has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. At this time, the contest has not been rescheduled but may be made up at a later date pending scheduling opportunities for both teams. In place of that game, UMN Morris will travel to the College of St. Scholastica and play a non-conference game with the Saints at 3 p.m.
Minnesota Morris continues its road swing with a Feb. 15 game at Martin Luther College at 7 p.m. in a make-up game that was postponed due to weather last week.
The final adjustment at this time is the postponement of the scheduled home game against Crown College on Feb. 18 due to COVID-19 protocols. That contest has also not yet been rescheduled but may be made up at a later date pending scheduling opportunities for both teams.
