Volleyball Faces St. Benedict in a Non-Conference Match on Friday

After the postponement of their scheduled match at Northland on Saturday, the Cougars have picked up a non-conference match as a replacement.

MORRIS, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Morris volleyball team has added a match at the College of St. Benedict on Friday night at 7 p.m.

Following the postponement of a Saturday match at Northland College, the Cougars were in search of a replacement match and found one against a program that advanced to the final eight of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. Fans are not allowed at indoor matches in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), but St. Benedict will provide video and live stats.

Next up for the Cougars is a Thursday night match at Jim Gremmels Court against Martin Luther College starting at 5:30 p.m. Following the match with St. Benedict's, UMN Morris will be back home on April 1 to host the University of Northwestern.
